Keeping Children Safe in Education
Staff have read, understand and follow Keeping Children Safe in Education Part 1. Governors have read, understand and follow Keeping Children Safe in Education Part 2.
Please find a link to this document at the bottom of the page.
The children have e-safety training as part of their computing curriculum, and parents are regularly reminded via newsletters of the importance of e-safety training at home. Please click on the link at the bottom of the page for full details and advice.
The National Crime Agency's CEOP Command (formerly the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) works with child protection partners acorss the UK and overseas to identify the main threats to children, and co-ordinates activity against these threats to bring offenders to account. We protect children from harm online and offline, directly through NCA led operations and in partnership with local and international agencies.
The Headteacher and Chair of Governors have undertaken Safer Recruitment training. We follow these procedures when recruiting any new member of staff including volunteers.
All members of staff, including regular volunteers, have DBS checks before they begin at the school.
NSPCC PANTS Campaign
We have made all parents and carers aware of the NSPCC PANTS campaign - which is aimed at preventing abuse in children. Posters have been discussed with the children as part of PSE to help them learn about the underwear rule. Please see the poster by clicking the link below.
