Music plays an important and enjoyable part in the life of the school.

Our use of the Surrey Arts Interactive Charanga Music scheme gives many opportunities for the children to sing, dance, and play percussion instruments. They learn to appreciate the work of famous composers and to compose and record their own music. Older children have the opportunity to learn to play the recorder (Abba's Mamma Mia is Year 2's culmination of a year's work!)

The staff are also currently learning how to play the ukulele along with the children, which has proved to be enjoyable so far!

The children are given opportunities to perform at annual events such as our Harvest, Christmas and Easter celebrations, the local Music Festival and also at school assemblies.
